The trails were dry and loose today, especially through the exposed corners. I lowered my tire pressure slightly after the first section, and that made the bike feel much better. I didn’t ride especially fast, but I cleaned one rocky climb that I’ve had to walk several times before. That felt like a win.

Got out early before the heat picked up and rode from Discovery Park toward Folsom. The trail was quiet for the first hour, and the river looked especially good near the Sunrise area. I planned on doing about 25 miles but felt good enough to stretch it to 38. Still working on remembering to eat before I’m already hungry. #earlyride
